² P. Escobar, et al. Robotic-assisted laparoendoscopic single-site surgery in gynecology: initial report and technique. J Minim Invasive Gynecol. 2009;16:589–591J.

³ We wish to recognize that Dr. Escobar's group both performed and published the first report of single incision robotic surgery in gynecology on 3/19/2009. Our surgery 3/24/2009, and report 11/2009 occurs subsequent to this. Therefore we wish to make the following clarification: these two reports described different procedures with different surgical techniques. It should be noted that our Robotic Single Incision Surgery was a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy and not a Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Bilateral Salpingo-oophorectomy.

Dr. Farnam is one of the best GYN I have ever been to. He is up to date on his knowledge and has excellent bed side manners. He made me feel comfortable about my diagnosis and answered all the questions. He is a life saver. I have to thank him for giving me my life back.
