Ultrasound is a vital part of the evaluation and treatment of the infertility patient. It can also be used to evaluated certain types of malignancies including Breast, Ovarian, and Uterine cancer. Ultrasound is also used widely in Obstetrics. It is used to very accurately determine the age and location of an early pregnancy.
